Nigeria International Victor Oshimen is confident that ‘the team is ready’ for the challenge of defeating Libya to qualify for the next round of the Olympic qualifiers.
Oshimen who was speaking exclusively to DiegwuSports.com also revealed that the team will go all out to get the win.
‘We are ready and very positive about the match. We want to win and qualify for the next round of the qualifiers. We have our backs against the wall and we have to go all out tomorrow and get the win.’
Oshimen was drafted into the team from the Super Eagles following the 2-0 1st leg defeat to the Libyans and the strikers is looking forwarded to repaying the coach for his trust in his abilities.
‘For me to be drafted to the U23 means that the coach believes in me that is why he requested for me and I just want to repay him for his trust. So I am going to work hard tomorrow and hopefully after 90 minutes, my teammates and I will get the win.’
Nigeria will host Libya on Monday trailing by two goals after losing the 1st leg 2-0 last Thursday.
