French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco have announced the sacking former Super Eagles midfielder Michael Emenalo as sports director.
Emenalo, 54, who previously held down a similar post at Premier League club Chelsea, joined Monaco in November 2017 on a lucrative 100,000 Euros-a-month (about 40 million Naira).
However, Emenalo had fallen out of favour with his bosses due to the poor signings he has made and also die to several disagreements with head coach Leonardo Jardim.
Monaco recent signings were done by the top bosses.
Emenalo was highly successful with Chelsea’s where he won two premier leagues, a Champions League, a Europa league amongst other trophies
