Super Eagles defender and Chelsea loanee Keneth Omeruo is confident that the National team will deliver come match day against South Africa in the all important AFCON Qualifiers at the Johanesburg National Stadium on Saturday.
Omeruo who spoke to DiegwuSports via whatsapp also disclosed that the pressure was more on the South Africans than the super Eagles.
‘We are fully focused towards getting a win this weekend. Personally, I am relishing the challenge, I love big matches and so too do the other guys. If we do the right things, we will get the desired result.’
Omeruo went on to admit that there is a little revenge on the air after the Bafana Bafana defeated the Super Eagles in the reverse fixture at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium Uyo.
‘Absolutely, we are looking to rectify the wrongs of the 1st leg where we lost at home, a lothas changed in both sides since the 1st leg, I think we are better now than we were at the time of the 1st leg.’
Omeruo is expected to join the Super Eagles camp holding in Asaba and is expected to take part in the team’s training session to be held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium on Tuesday evening.
