Super Eagles and Enyimba International goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has disclosed that he will be ready to be in goal if called upon by the coaching staff for Saturday’s AFCON qualifiers against South Africa at the National Stadium Johannesburg.
Ezenwa who was speaking to DiegwuSports on Thursday also disclosed that the camp was very ready for Saturday’s match.
‘I am always working hard to be fit to serve my country. So if I am called upon to play on Saturday, then it will be an honor. It’s not only me but all the players; we are battle ready for the match and we will do all our best to win’ Ezenwa told DiegwuSports.
Ezenwa also expressed his satisfaction with the facilities of the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba. The former FC Ifeanyi Ubah goal keeper described the facilities as World Class.
‘I am so amazed by the facilities here in Asaba. I was unaware that the stadium has been completed. This is world class; the pitch itself is so good. Natural grass is rare to see but to see this now, gives me joy. Thumbs up to them, I urge them to maintain the facility’
